In 2010 Language In Provence will be offering a programme with a different approach to language learning.
LIVING LANGUAGE LEARNING: IMMERSION WITH A DIFFERENCE is the ultimate course for adult learners who want to learn and improve their French by putting it into action. You experience and learn at the same time. You have tasks to perform..... and you have fun doing them! You FEEL what it is to live in Provence, you get to understand the people and places around you. You will be comfortable with it all.
We allow your language learning to develop organically. Yes, you will spend a little time in the classroom. But this is not a classroom based course. Every day there will be a different experience, each lesson will relate to something you will see, or do, or want to buy or learn about. You will communicate with French people in their normal daily environment. Whether its shopping in the market, cultivating olive trees and tasting the local fragrant oil, familiarising yourself with the village and its history, people, rhythms and routines, you will be part of it all.
Each of the LIVING LANGUAGE LEARNING: IMMERSION WITH A DIFFERENCE courses we offer has a theme to tie it to the rhythm of the seasons, or local life, or cultural feasts such as the Avignon Theatre Festival.
Our learning groups are small, a maximum of 6 participants, and there will be a maximum of 12 learners participating at any one time. The busy daytime learning and discovery schedule will be complemented by a number of evening dinners and activities - theme evenings, wine tastings and great company. You will also have time to relax and enjoy the marvellous surroundings of glorious Provence.
Throughout the course you will be guided and taught by Susan and her teachers. We have all had many years' experience and have a passion for our village, the Luberon Valley and Provence. Come and give it a try, we think it will be an unforgettable learning experience with a difference!

LIVING LANGUAGE LEARNING & ST REMY DE PROVENCE
Programme includes a full day excursion to St Rémy de Provence, the ancient Provençal town made famous in the paintings of Van Gogh, its Wednesday morning market, and the stunning hilltop medieval village of Les Baux de Provence. We will also have time to visit the breathtaking projections art show at the Cathédrale d'Images.
19-24 APRIL 2010
LIVING LANGUAGE LEARNING & LES PAYSAGES DE CEZANNE
Programme includes a full day excursion to Aix-en-Provence, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in France. Stroll along the delightful boulevards, explore tiny streets with natural springs and fountains and visit Cézanne's studio and the magnificent countryside he painted.
24-29 MAY 2010
LIVING LANGUAGE LEARNING & VINEYARDS OF THE COTES DE RHONE
Programme includes a full day excursion to the vineyards of the Côtes de Rhône villages, wine tastings, picnic lunch in the vineyard garden of a well-known local artist and a visit to the pretty antiques centre town of Isle sur la Sorgue, the Venice of Provence.

LIVING LANGUAGE LEARNING & THE LAVENDER FIELDS OF PROVENCE
Programme includes a full day excursion to the exquisite lavender fields of Haute Provence and a visit to Mont Ventoux, Provence's highest mountain.

LIVING LANGUAGE LEARNING & THE AVIGNON THEATRE FESTIVAL
Programme includes a full day visit to the Avignon Festival. Our group will choose from the programme which events they would like to reserve in advance.
